Bought this case for my daughter to go with new iPod we gave her for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! Looks great, and gives minimal protection of the iPod, definitely keeps safe from scratching. She has dropped the iPod a few times with no ill effects.
A couple of 'downsides': 1] No screen protector is included; and, 2] Kind of awkward connecting the iPod's transfer-cable and earphones.
