This is a good, inexpensive option for the beginning iPod Touch 4g owner. I originally bought this as a stopgap until I find a case I like better. But I like it enough to keep it for quite some time. Comparable products are considerably more expensive. The price can hardly be beat. It is as advertised. It is a thin case, so it won't do much to protect the iPod of it is dropped. But it will keep it from getting scratched at least.

I have two criticisms. The first is that it collects dust--especially around the edges on the front. As I understand, this is a problem with the silicone material and is not unique to this case. The second criticism is that the bottom portion of the cover--by the speaker, headphone jack, and 30 pin connector is not substantial enough to last long. Some covers mask portions of the bottom, but this is a long, wide cutout the width of the iPod, with only enough cover material for the corners and where it wraps around the front.

If this rips, the case won't do much good. But then again, this is really cheap. Buy two if you're concerned about that. Or, simply use this until you find something you like better.

As for the screen protector, it seems to be a run of the mill cover. They are hard to put on and this doesn't come with a squeegee as most do. But it does the job.

I'd get it again, and if you can't find another case to your liking yet, get this one and keep your eye out for something you like better.
